Come with me and discover the history of Portuguese navigation!

Come with me and discover the history of Portuguese navigation! We’ll be visiting the residential district of Belém, with the majestic Jeronimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries and the splendid and famous Tower of Belém. This tour will take us back in history, to the time when Portuguese mariners were the protagonists throughout the Seven Seas, what an incredible story! While admiring a map of the world, we’ll ideally travel along the routes sailed by the captains who made the Portuguese Empire one of the largest ever. We’ll hear about sea expeditions as well as the hard work of industrious monks. Thanks to these monks we’ll tickle our palates with a delightful tasting which will make our walk surprisingly sweet… Are you ready to time travel with me?
